Background – You will be joining a well-liked and cohesive group of practices in the Holmfirth and Huddersfield areas. You’ll work with a mixed demographic offering plenty of variety but with only small pockets of deprivation. Templates are still being finalised but are likely to consist of 12-14 patients per session with 15-minute appointments as standard, with it currently unlikely that you’ll do any home visits, evenings or weekends. Coffee breaks are a regular feature and most if not all of the practices are Training Practice, meaning there’ll be plenty of opportunities to gain that all-important peer-to-peer feedback. An immediate start is available with the initial contract running until 31 st March but with excellent scope for renewal, depending on confirmation of funding. To be applicable for this role, you must have qualified within the last 2 years and have not had a salaried post to date. You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
