Background – You will be joining a small but very cohesive PCN in East Cornwall. Working from just one practice rather than across numerous practices like a lot of PCN GP roles currently being advertised, this opportunity will offer you more support and allow for more integration within the team, ideally with the aim of you becoming a permanent member of the team in future. You’ll work with a varied demographic offering you a little bit of everything and have a very generous template of 12 patients in the morning and 11 in the afternoon, with 15-minute appointments. There’ll be no on-call responsibilities or evening/weekend cover to provide and your admin workload will likely be the lowest in the practice, covering just self-generated path and referrals plus helping with path work from GPs on holiday/off sick. An immediate start is available with the initial contract running until 31 st March but with excellent scope for renewal, depending on confirmation of funding, including the possibility of being made permanent on a very attractive sessional rate. Salary: £600 per day Sessions: 4 sessions per week Location – Callington area, close to Plymouth You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.
