Background

Protected CPD every week, a duty day clinicians volunteer for and an in-house system that files around half of all pathology results automatically. This is a practice that genuinely protects its clinicians' time. For a GP trainer or educational supervisor, it is also a chance to play a central role in a well-established training programme with generous supervision time.

Location

The practice is in a rural village to the east of Nottingham, on the edge of the Vale. Grantham is around 15 minutes away by car, Newark around 30 minutes and Nottingham around 35 minutes.

Your Role

  • GP trainers and educational supervisors especially welcome, with supervising GPs seeing around 20 patients a day
  • 26 patients per day in 10-minute slots
  • Weekly duty day with around five or six on-the-day patients, the rest triage

Salary and Benefits

  • Circa £11,300-£11,600 per session
  • One protected CPD session per week (FTE, pro rata), never traded away for capacity
  • One week of study leave, pro rata, on top of weekly CPD
  • six weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, on BMA model contract terms
  • NHS Pension
