Independent, well respected, and trusted by the local community. The practice maintains a modern, spacious setting with full dental equipment, scanners, ultrasound and x‑ray technology. Team culture values welfare, teamwork and career progression, with a stable group of 5 vets and 5 RVNs.

Your Role

Provide high‑quality veterinary care with an emphasis on surgical procedures. Standard 15‑minute consultations with additional time for complex cases and second opinions. No nights or out‑of‑hours work, and a full weekend requirement of one Saturday every four weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care to small‑animal patients.
  • Conduct routine and complex consultations, often extending beyond the standard 15‑minute slot.
  • Participate in surgical caseloads, including elective and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high standards of animal welfare.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team and support staff to provide outstanding client service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years qualified experience as a Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Valid license to practice in the United Kingdom.
  • Preference for full‑time commitment; part‑time arrangements may be considered.
