This is general practice done together. Rather than working alone behind a closed door, the GPs share a common workspace whenever they are not consulting, so advice, a second opinion or a helping hand is always moments away. Location

The practice is based in a market town in central Cambridgeshire with excellent A1 and A14 road links. Cambridge and Peterborough are each around 30 minutes away by car, with Bedford around 40 minutes.

Your Role

6 sessions per week across three full days: Tuesday and Thursday essential, with Wednesday or Friday as the third dayA varied week, typically one duty day, one triage day and one patient-facing day15-minute appointments as standard, with double slots for complex patients and interpreter appointmentsProtected results and admin time every day, plus a 10:30 team coffee break, designed so you leave with no admin outstandingDuty typically once a week, with very few home visitsWorking days run 08:00 to 18:00, with duty days running 08:45 to 18:45Support to develop as a GP Trainer and build special interests, with women's health and mental health particularly welcomeNewly qualified GPs with triage and duty doctor experience welcome to apply

Salary and Benefits

  • £11,000–£12,000 per session
  • Optional extended access sessions, paid at an additional hourly rate
