A well-organised service in Whitehaven is looking for ongoing GP support for afternoon and evening sessions for extended access. They are looking for cover across the week Monday to Friday but could consider splitting the days so open to support on any day of the week. Ideally look for support during May but could continue into June.
The role offers a highly structured clinic with pre-triaged, on-the-day appointments and no additional practice workload. You will not be required to complete shared admin or home visits, allowing full focus on patient consultations. You will be working alongside a supportive and efficient clinical team, with strong triage processes in place.
Salary: £700 per day
Location: Whitehaven, Cumbria
The surgery:
- Well-structured, triage-led service
- EMIS practice
Your role – Locum GP
- 2:00pm – 8:00pm
- 6-hour sessions
- 18 patients per shift
- 15-minute appointments
- Predominantly face-to-face consultations with occasional telephone
- On-the-day appointments, pre-triaged by the practice
- Clinics structured as 4 patients followed by a break
- No practice admin
- No home visits
You must be a qualified General Practitioner and be registered with the GMC and UK Performer’s List.
