Location

The practice is located in West Northamptonshire, within easy reach of Northampton (≈25 minutes), Rugby (≈25 minutes) and Coventry (≈35 minutes), with good road links and a mix of urban and rural surroundings.

  • Consistently 100% QOF achievement over the last three consecutive years.
  • Purpose‑built premises adjoining a community hospital, with on‑site diagnostics, attached pharmacy and free parking.

  • Broad MDT including ANPs, a paramedic and clinical pharmacists, reducing GP admin burden.

Your Role

6 sessions per week, with flexibility on days and timings to suit the right candidate.

  • 15‑minute appointments throughout, with a maximum of 25 bookable patient contacts per day.
  • Duty rota shared across the GP team, typically falling approximately once a fortnight.
  • Extended access via occasional weekday evenings (≈once per month) and Saturdays (≈once every six months), with Saturday sessions returned as TOIL.
  • SystmOne clinical system.
  • Structured induction with reviews at 3 and 6 months.
  • Both newly qualified and experienced GPs are welcomed.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salaried GP of £11,000 per session on commencement, rising to £11,660 per session following successful completion of a 6‑month review.
  • NHS Pension.

  • 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
