Location
The practice is based in an attractive market town in North Suffolk, close to the Norfolk border, the Broads and the coast. Lowestoft is around 20 minutes' drive, Great Yarmouth around 25 minutes and Norwich around 35 minutes. The patient population is predominantly older, suiting a GP who enjoys multimorbidity and long-term condition work.
The Practice GP Training Practice
Teaching medical students from two universities across Years 1 to 6, alongside GP registrars, with protected teaching time.

Recently approved, adding six new clinical rooms and new teaching space.

Commercial and non-commercial studies, with separate protected time.

Of paramedics and ACPs carries out the bulk of home visits.

Remote Enhanced Access telephone work available, with working patterns built around family life 6 to 8 sessions of 5 hours each, on a permanent contract 15-minute appointments with protected admin time spread through the day Daily 30-minute clinical coffee, built into paid break time Two half-day duty sessions a week (full-time), on a total triage model Very few home visits, with a monthly visit to an allocated care home Newly qualified GPs welcome; teaching experience, minor surgery or vasectomy skills an advantage Partnership prospects in the medium term.
Salary and Benefits
£129,000 to £139,000 per annum full-time equivalent, approximately £16,125 to £17,375 per session.
