Background This rural Shropshire practice offers something increasingly rare in general practice today: consulting lists of just 16 to 19 patients a day, and less than one home visit on average. A long‑standing GP partner is stepping back from clinical responsibility, creating a genuine partnership pathway for the right candidate, or a well‑supported salaried role for those not yet ready to commit. This is a role built around sustainable, high‑quality general practice, not volume.
Location The practice is set in rural Shropshire, within easy reach of Market Drayton, Shrewsbury, and Telford. The surrounding area is dominated by farmland and small villages, offering a genuinely rural lifestyle without being cut off from larger towns.
