An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Locum GP to support a highly innovative and well-organised practice based near Kingston upon Thames. The practice is implementing a new digital triage system and requires additional GP support across a number of dates over the summer period including 15th June, 13th & 20th July and 3rd & 24th August. This is a modern, technologically advanced environment with strong clinical support and significantly reduced administrative burden, with potential for ongoing locum work beyond the initial dates.

Salary: £90 per hour

Location: Kingston-upon-Thames area

The surgery:

  • EMIS practice with substantial investment into workflow optimisation and digital triage
  • Strong multidisciplinary support including ANPs, Pharmacists, Nurses and Paramedics
  • Minimal home visiting requirement due to dedicated Paramedic support

Your role:

  • Locum GP requirement for the following dates:
    • June: 15th
    • July: 13th and 20th
    • August: 3rd and 24th
  • Sessions focused on urgent same-day presentations following digital triage
  • 20 appointments per session/10-minute appointments
  • Mix of telephone and face-to-face consultations
  • Two 4-hour clinics per day with flexibility around start and finish times
  • Opportunity for ongoing locum sessions longer term
  • Excellent clinical and administrative support throughout

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and be registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.
