An excellent opportunity has become available for a Locum GP to join a highly regarded, forward-thinking training practice in Worthing on a long-term locum basis. The practice has built an outstanding reputation locally for providing a manageable workload, strong clinical support and excellent continuity within the team. They are seeking a GP to support the practice for 6 sessions a week from June through to mid-September, with flexibility around sessions and working days.
Salary: £80-£85 per hour
Location: Coastal Sussex
The surgery:
- Large, stable GP training practice with a long-standing clinical team
- Highly supportive multidisciplinary environment including Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics and Mental Health Practitioners
- SystmOne practice with strong admin and workflow support
- Excellent staff retention and collaborative culture
- Daily coffee breaks and regular educational meetings
- CQC rated Good with excellent patient feedback
Your role:
- Locum GP requirement for 6 sessions per week
- Flexible on days, with Wednesday and Friday preferred
- Requirement from mid/end June through to mid-September
- Very manageable workload of 12–14 patient contacts per session
- Mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments
- 15-minute face-to-face appointments and 10-minute telephone appointments
- No duty doctor requirement
- Home visits minimal and generally covered by the wider clinical team
- Strong admin support with highly organised workflows
You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and be registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.
