Locum GP in Bury St Edmunds

Background –

We have an excellent opportunity for a Locum GP to support a well-established practice in Bury St Edmunds, with ad-hoc dates available in September and October.

Beyond September and October, the practice has a regular, ongoing requirement for locum cover, so there is genuine scope for consistent, repeat bookings if it's a good fit on both sides.

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team including GPs, ACPs, Nurses, Paramedics and Clinical Pharmacists.

£700-£725 per day

• Purpose-built modern practice building
• GP Training practice
• CQC Good
• c.12,500 patients
• SystmOne
• Anima

Your role –

• Locum GP
• Ad-hoc sessions available throughout September and October
• Regular, ongoing locum requirement beyond these dates
• 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Duty GP days also required (duty until 6:30pm)
• Use of Anima for patient triage
• 28 appointments per day
• 15-minute F2F / 10-minute telephone appointments
• Occasional home visits (rare)
• Self-generated admin, plus med reviews, urgent bloods and messages
• Must be GMC registered and on the UK Performers List
