A large, well-organised GP Training & Research Practice in North Somerset is seeking a Salaried GP for 5+ sessions. The practice combines the resources of a larger organisation with a structured, low-pressure working day, strong MDT support and excellent feedback from existing GPs.
Salary & Benefits
- £11,500 – £13,000 per session dependent on experience
- Indemnity fees paid
- 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave
- NHS pension
- Paid additional responsibilities available (higher earning potential)
- Structured 2-week induction (no clinics until week 3)
Workload & Structure
- 11 patients per session
- 15-minute appointments
- Virtually no home visits
- No traditional duty doctor model
- Limited on-call: 1 day every 3–4 weeks (supporting a Partner-led system)
- Strong triage and signposting – GPs see appropriate patients only
- Daily coffee break + team lunch
