Location

The (single site) practice sits on the edge of Telford, Shropshire, with significant new housing development planned in the surrounding area. Telford is commutable from Shrewsbury (around 20 minutes), Wolverhampton (around 30 minutes) and Birmingham (around 50 minutes), making it accessible to candidates relocating from further afield.

The Practice

• GP Training Practice, with two GP registrars currently in place
• Genuine, near-term view to partnership for the right candidate
• Rare three-hour gap between morning and afternoon clinics, used flexibly for admin, telephone work and referrals
• On-site clinical pharmacist five days a week, filtering medication queries before they reach GPs
• Strong partnership team backed by a salaried GP team
• Actively investing in AI tools to reduce non-clinical admin burden
• Tier 2 / Skilled Worker visa sponsorship available
• CQC rated Good overall

Your Role

• 6 to 8 sessions available, with the practice keen to appoint one or two salaried GPs
• Manageable contact numbers of 25 patients a day, despite a complex patient population
• Hugely varied and complex clinical caseload, offering genuine professional development
• Home visits shared equally across the team and genuinely light, averaging 4 to 5 a week across the whole practice
• Pooled patient list, with continuity supported by a close-knit salaried team
• Backed by two GP registrars and an on-site clinical pharmacist

Salary And Benefits

• £10,500 to £12,000 per session
• Professional fees covered
• NHS Pension
• 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
