This is an excellent opportunity for a Salaried GP to join a forward-thinking GP Training Practice undergoing an exciting period of modernisation. With a move towards an online access model and significant investment in the wider clinical team, the practice is focused on delivering high-quality patient care while reducing GP workload. They have recently moved to 15-minute appointments and are considering reducing the number of patient contacts further. There could also be a pathway to Partnership for those interested in longer-term progression.

Owing to recent newly-qualified GP hires, the Practice are looking for at least 2+ years’ post-CCT experience.

  • Good transport links with commutable distances from surrounding areas
  • Mixed demographic with a slightly older patient population

The Practice

  • Mid-sized practice with a growing patient list
  • GP Training Practice with multiple trainers and Registrar support
  • Strong MDT including ANP, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy team
  • Highly efficient workflow systems resulting in significantly reduced admin
  • Purpose-built premises with planned expansion and refurbishment
  • Excellent staff retention across both clinical and administrative teams
  • Actively involved in local cluster and transformation projects (optional involvement)

Your role

  • Salaried GP, 4-8 sessions
  • Minimum 2+ years’ post-CCT experience
  • Structured but flexible working day with autonomy over clinics
  • Mixture of telephone triage and face-to-face appointments
  • 15-minute appointments with a capped workload
  • 28 patients per day
  • Minimal home visits supported by wider team (including Paramedic)
  • Opportunity to develop specialist interests

Salary And Benefits

  • £11,000 – £11,500 per session depending on experience
  • Indemnity and all professional fees paid
  • 6 weeks annual leave
  • 1 week study leave

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
