This is a unique opportunity for a GP seeking a salaried role within an extended access setting, supported by a well-organised federation. With a strong focus on same-day access and acute presentations, this position offers structured clinics, manageable workloads and the chance to work across multiple supportive practices.

Location: Based across multiple sites within North-West Leicestershire around Coalville. Friday base clinic with weekend work across two local practices. Easily commutable with good on-site support at each location.

The Practice: Locally-run service delivering extended access clinics. Working across two well-established, highly regarded practices. Fully supported by reception and administrative teams on-site. Pre-triaged patients via NHS 111 and local practices. Efficient systems with realistic appointment numbers. EMIS clinical system.

Your role: Extended Access salaried GP. Working Fridays, Saturdays (9-5) and Sundays (10-2). Clinics focused on same-day access and acute presentations. 15-minute appointments, with no overbooking. Approx. 4 patients per hour with protected breaks. No home visits required. Predominantly lone working, with additional clinicians on-site Saturdays. Opportunity to utilise downtime productively when clinics are quieter. Rotating between sites across the weekend.

Qualifications: You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.

Salary and Benefits: £11,500 – £12,500 per session. Indemnity included. NHS Pension. BMA model contract. Flexible, structured working pattern.
