A genuinely manageable GP workload within a well-organised, high-performing practice in the Mexborough area. This is an opportunity to join a stable, supportive team with total triage in place, minimal home visits and a clear pathway to Partnership if desired.

Salary & Benefits

  • £11,000–£12,000+ per session (flexible for additional skills/training)
  • MDU indemnity paid

Workload & Structure

  • Total triage model – all demand pre-screened
  • Structured day: 15 + 12 appointments, with catch-up slot every hour
  • Minimal home visits – typically around one per month
  • Admin kept light – mainly self-generated (given Partners hold the list) + limited cover for locum GPs
  • No traditional duty doctor model
  • Named “go-to” clinician for queries
  • Triage clinician does surface scan of all requests and allocates appropriately
  • Triage sessions are opt-in
  • Flexible working outside of triage days
  • No extended hours requirement

The Practice

  • Small to medium-sized practice with long-standing GP team
  • Experienced GP team including long-standing clinicians and former Partners
  • Strong MDT: ANPs, FCP and Pharmacist
  • Exceptionally well-organised admin team – paper-light workflow
  • High QOF achievement (near 100%)
  • Good CQC rating
  • Loyal, engaged patient population
  • Purpose-built premises with new building in development (planning submitted 2025)
  • EMIS Web clinical system
  • Weekly breakfast club

Role Details

  • Would consider anything from 4-8 sessions
  • No solo working
  • Pooled list with everything allocated on a fair share basis
  • Interest in training, coils, minor ops or other specialisms welcomed
