Outstanding and unique opportunity to work as a Salaried GP in an extremely well-run, forward-thinking, training practice in Burton-upon-Trent. The practice has made excellent progress in recent months and is now in a prime position to recruit another GP. This role is only available to GPs based locally or willing to relocate; Tier 2 visa sponsorship is not available.

Location: Burton-upon-Trent

The Surgery:

  • Forward-thinking practice which has made excellent progress over recent years
  • Very dynamic, able to adapt and make decisions quickly
  • Well-connected locally with PCN and CCG
  • GP Training Practice
  • Heavily reduced GP workload
  • Successful strict protocols/processes in place, vibrant team
  • Superb IT structure and support and organised practice

Your Role:

  • 4 - 8 sessions per week
  • Heavily reduced workload
  • Approximately 21, 28 or 30 patient contacts per day, depending on the day
  • 9-15 patient contacts per session
  • Dedicated daily admin time
  • Reasonable duty doctor day
  • Minimal home visit requirement
  • EMIS Practice

Qualifications:

Qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.

Salary: £10,500 - £11,500 per session plus indemnity paid, BMA contract, and 7 weeks' leave.
