This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Salaried GP to join a forward-thinking GP Training Practice in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

  • The Practice
  • Mid-sized practice with ambitious growth plans
  • Part of a successful not-for-profit GP federation
  • GP Training Practice with a structured educational programme
  • Daily coffee break fostering a genuinely collaborative culture
  • Strong multidisciplinary team including Clinical Pharmacists, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, Physiotherapy service, Nurses and HCAs
  • Dedicated medical secretaries managing referrals and correspondence
  • Home visiting service in place, resulting in virtually no home visits for GPs
  • Recently expanded premises undergoing significant investment and refurbishment
  • EMIS clinical system
  • Strong focus on clinician wellbeing and sustainable workloads

Your Role

  • Salaried GP
  • Flexible sessional commitment available
  • 15-minute appointments throughout
  • Typically 13 patients in the morning and 12 in the afternoon
  • Personal lists
  • Dedicated clinician-of-the-day model for triage and urgent care
  • No squeeze-in appointments and no expectation to routinely work beyond scheduled hours
  • Minimal home visiting responsibilities
  • Opportunity to develop specialist interests, particularly Women’s Health, Dermatology or Research
  • Excellent progression opportunities, including future Clinical Lead roles
  • You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
