We are working with a well-regarded, forward-thinking GP practice seeking a Practice Manager on a locum basis to provide support on an interim basis while they recruit to a permanent position, starting from mid-May. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive environment with potential for longer-term involvement.

Location: Hertfordshire
The surgery:
- Mid-sized practice
- Friendly, supportive and innovative team culture
- Led by proactive Partners who embrace technology and modern ways of working
- Strong existing leadership structure including an Operations Manager and Reception Supervisor
- Operate across 2 sites
- SystmOne
Your role:
- Locum Practice Manager 3–4 days per week (flexible on the days)
- Provide leadership across the practice with a focus on governance, compliance and HR
- Lead on CQC readiness, particularly Health & Safety and regulatory standards
- Oversee administrative functions and support team management
- Work collaboratively with the existing leadership team to drive continuous improvement
- Support the practice in maintaining its previous Good CQC rating ahead of an anticipated inspection
Requirements:
- Primary Care and experience working in GP Surgery environments is essential
- SystmOne experience required
- Some prior experience working with Xero and Iris would be advantageous, but training could be provided
