Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Salaried GP to join a highly respected, forward-thinking Training and Research Practice with an outstanding reputation locally. The practice has a long-standing, stable team and a genuinely supportive culture, offering flexibility, strong clinical support and excellent opportunities to develop specialist interests. With recent departures due to relocation, they are now looking to welcome a new GP into their friendly and progressive environment.

Mixed demographic with both affluent and deprived areas

The Practice
Large practice GP Training Practice with medical students, registrars and retainers
Strong involvement in the PCN, with leadership presence on-site
Modern, purpose-built premises with excellent facilities
Highly supportive clinical team including ANPs, Paramedics, Pharmacists and Physios
Minimal home visits due to dedicated visiting team
Proactive and efficient admin team, including a ‘runner’ to support GPs
Forward-thinking, embracing innovation and new models of care
EMIS clinical system

Your role
Salaried GP 4–6 sessions with flexibility on working days (ideally including Friday)
14 patients per session with a mix of telephone and face‑to‑face
Flexible start and finish times to suit your lifestyle
Only one duty session per week, focused on overflow and manageable workload
15‑minute appointments allowing time for admin within clinic
Minimal home visits, typically rare and mainly for palliative care
Encouragement and support for specialist interests, particularly teaching, training and research

Salary and Benefits
£12,000 per session (negotiable depending on experience)
6 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays
1 week study leave (pro rata)
NHS Pension Tier 2 Visa sponsorship available
Indemnity cover provided (excluding GMC/RCGP)

Qualifications
You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
