Salary & Benefits

  • c£12,000 – £12,500 per session
  • Indemnity + GMC fees paid
  • NHS pension
  • 6 weeks annual leave
  • 1 week study leave
  • Tier 2 visa sponsorship available
  • Ideally starting in July/August, fixed‑term until September 2027 covering a maternity
  • Good scope for permanent role beyond contract‑end

Workload & Structure

  • 4-6 sessions
  • 8 urgent appointments per day
  • Remaining workload self‑managed from your own patient list
  • Protected follow‑up slots (GP‑controlled)
  • No traditional duty doctor model – Triage GP filters and distributes workload
  • Virtually no home visits (Paramedics + Frailty team)
  • No evenings or weekends
