Mendreo is expanding and seeking a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist (PhD level) to join our growing team at our ultramodern Newry Clinic and as part of our digital delivery service. This is a unique opportunity to combine traditional clinical practice with innovative digital mental health research.

We specialise in Anxiety and Depression, and we do it differently. We have bridged the gap between therapy sessions with our exclusive, in-house Mental Health App.

The Role: This is not a standard clinic position. The successful candidate will:
- Provide high-quality psychological assessment and therapy (in-person and online)
- Work primarily with anxiety, stress, and related disorders
- Contribute to clinical governance and service excellence
- Participate in applied research as we deploy and evaluate our mental health app
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team shaping digital and hybrid care models
You will play a central role in bridging clinical excellence and digital innovation.
Candidate Requirements: Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology or a related psychology discipline
- Be fully qualified and eligible to practice in the UK
- Be registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council)
- Be a member of relevant UK professional bodies (e.g., BPS)
- Demonstrate strong experience in evidence-based therapies (CBT, Unified Protocol, ACT or related approaches desirable)
- Be comfortable delivering both in-person and online therapy
- Have an interest in research and digital mental health innovation.
Location & Working Structure: Primary base: Newry, Northern Ireland. Delivery model: In-clinic and online. Mendreo is flexible in structure. Full-time salary: £65,000 per annum. Part-time option available. Alternative structures considered, including shared-revenue models for the right candidate. We are open to shaping this role around the right person.
