We are seeking a caring and reliable Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly team at Mendip Green Primary School. This part-time, term-time only school job is ideal for someone looking for morning work, excellent work–life balance, or a role within education support staff. You will help deliver a welcoming school breakfast club for children aged 4–11, ensuring pupils start each school day safe, happy and ready to learn.
Hours: 7 hours and 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 7:45am - 9:15am
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As a Breakfast Club Assistant, your duties will include:
- Preparing and serving a healthy breakfast in a clean, safe environment
- Supervising children and leading safe, creative play activities
- Setting up and packing away equipment, furniture and resources
- Ensuring rooms and storage areas are clean, tidy and organised
- Recording attendance accurately and efficiently
- Safeguarding pupils and reporting health, safety or child protection concerns
- Communicating effectively with parents, carers and school staff
- Escorting pupils safely to their classrooms at the start of the school day
