Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking a passionate Female Part Time Female Support Worker to join our incredible team in Worksop and the surrounding areas. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you will play a vital role in their life. A driver is preferred for this but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities for individuals with learning disabilities.
- Provide emotional support.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
Contract Options:
- Part-time: flexible hours based on availability.
Shift Times:
All our services are 24 hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life. Days: Between 07:00-22:00.
