The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We are looking for a female Waking Night Support Worker to join our service based in Witham on a permanent, part time basis. The waking night shift is 10pm to 7am, 3 shifts per week on a rota basis which will include some weekends. This contract is for 27 hours per week.

Our team supports adults with learning disabilities to access the community, maintain their homes, and just live a normal and active life. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life. Night staff will be expected to complete personal care, regular checks throughout the night and some housework duties.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
