We are looking to recruit passionate Waking Night Support Workers to join our dedicated team of Support Workers in the Welwyn Garden City area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the people we support feel safe, comfortable, and respected. You’ll assist with evening routines, respond to any overnight needs, and help maintain a calm and reassuring environment. Your presence will bring peace of mind, whether it’s offering personal care, completing safety checks, or simply being there with a listening ear.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care and support to people during waking night hours.
- Assist with evening routines and respond to overnight needs to maintain a calm environment.
- Carry out safety checks and be present to offer reassurance and support as needed.
- Offer personal care where appropriate and maintain dignity and respect at all times.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
