Mencap are seeking Full Time and Part Time Support Workers to join our team in Cranleigh. As a Support Worker you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily activities at home and in the community, such as eating, shopping, and holidays.
  • Providing emotional support and encouraging participation in social life.
  • Supporting domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry, gardening, cooking and maintaining health and safety around the house.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, mobility support (wheelchair or walker), and personal grooming.
  • Aiding the application and management of medication and any specific health needs.
  • Working collaboratively to enable residents to make choices about how they live and manage their home.
