Support Worker - Hexham

Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Hexham, supporting individuals within a service and the community.

As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs, assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support.

Qualifications and Experience

• A genuine passion for supporting others
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards people with learning disabilities

Contract and Hours

Full‑time – 37.5 hours a week

Part‑time – Various hours available

Sleep ins required – paid at an enhanced flat rate of £63.70

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
