Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in Bow Street Aberystwyth.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities for individuals with learning disabilities.
- Provide emotional support and build meaningful relationships.
- Support individuals in various contexts, including at home and in the community.
- Attend to the needs of a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Empathetic and positive attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Suitable DBS check and references.
Contract Options
- Part‑time: 30 hours per week.
- Non‑contractual sleep‑in available with an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20.
- 24‑hour care.
