Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers and Relief Support Workers to join our team in Bishop Auckland to support two men and two women.

As a Support Worker, you\'ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

Your role includes assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and helping individuals live their best lives through morning routines, personal support, mealtimes, sensory activities, and social visits in the community. The individuals are always open to exploring new places and experiences.

What we\'re looking for:

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract options:

  • Part-time: flexible hours based on availability.

Shift times:

  • Days: Between 07:00-22:00
  • Waking Nights: 22:00-07:00

There is also a sleep-in option with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
