Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Woodbridge.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily activities
- Providing emotional support
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable driving people to various destinations
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
Contract Options:
- Relief, predominantly to cover shifts at weekends
- All our services are 24hr care
- Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance
- Non-contractual sleep-in available, with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70
