Mencap is seeking Support Workers to join our team in Ruthin, Denbighshire.
As a Support Worker, you\’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support, playing a vital role in their lives.
What we\’re looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to your own car.
Contract options:
Relief
Most of our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life.
There is also a non-contractual sleep-in option with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
Roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references, including your most recent/current employer.
