Overview
Relief Support Worker – Chelmsford at Mencap. Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our team in Chelmsford. As a Relief Support Worker, youll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, youll play a vital role in their life.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with learning disabilities with daily activities, including personal care where needed.
- Assist with cooking, cleaning and other daily tasks.
- Take part in community outings and activities chosen by the individuals.
- Travel to and from appointments as required.
- Provide moving and handling support where necessary and work with a small, experienced team.

Contract options & shift times
- Contract: Relief
- Shift times: All services are 24-hour care. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance to support your personal and social life.
- Sleep-in option: non-contractual sleep-in available with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
