At our service in Norwich, we support three wonderful ladies who love living life to the full and we are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team on a part time basis (around 20 hours a week). Life here is busy, social and fun. From shopping trips and meals out to tea and cake afternoons, walks in the community, local clubs and day centres, a trip to the cinema, bowling and our much-loved monthly disco nights, there's always something happening.
As a Support Worker, you will be right there alongside the people we support, helping them enjoy the things they love while promoting independence and supporting them along the way. Your role will involve being part of their everyday lives, helping with tasks around the home, supporting with appointments, administering medication, offering emotional support and encouraging confidence and independence in everything they do.
We are looking for someone who is positive, reliable and genuinely enjoys building meaningful relationships. Shifts at this service can vary, so flexibility is important. Sleep ins are required (at least one per week, this comes with a flat rate of £64.20) and weekend working is on a rota basis. Ideally, you will also be a driver, as the ladies share a vehicle to get out and enjoy everything their community has to offer.
