Are you someone who loves helping others, enjoys being out and about, and wants a job that's both rewarding and fun? At Mencap, we're looking for part-time Support Workers to join our friendly team in Bury St Edmunds. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we will give you the training and support to thrive.

In this role, you will be supporting people with a range of needs to live happy and independent lives. Your role might include attending local day centres with the people we support, shopping trips, attending appointments, theatre and cinema visits, meals out and seaside trips in the summer. Each day brings something new full of fresh challenges, creating meaningful moments, and the chance to make a real impact on the lives of the people we support.

In this rewarding role, you will also provide personalised support based on each individual's needs, including personal care, manual handling, administering medication, and specialist areas like Speech and Language Therapy.

We have 1 full-time position available currently, the shift patterns range from 7am-10pm and there is a requirement for a sleep-in shift also (this offers a flat rate of £64.20). All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
