We are seeking male waking night support workers to join our incredible team in Blaenau Gwent. Join us to make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support to people with learning disabilities.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- This role requires you to hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to your own car.
- An enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate.
Contract and Hours:
- Contract options: 36 hours per week. We will consider flexible working or certain working patterns to suit you but meeting the needs of the people we support.
- Shift times: Most of our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
