Mencap is looking for passionate Support Workers to join our team in central Llanelli, Kidwelly and Llangennech. Join us to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
Responsibilities – You will assist with daily activities, provide emotional support, and play a vital role in each individual’s life.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract Options
- Full‑time: 37.5 hrs per week
- Part‑time: flexible hours based on availability
Shift Times
- Days: 07:00‑22:00
- Waking Nights: 22:00‑07:00
There is also a sleep‑in available, with an enhanced flat‑rate payment of £63.70. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
Important Note – This position does not meet the minimum salary requirements for a Health and Care visa under the UK Skilled Worker route. Mencap is unable to offer sponsorship. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
