Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Leeds LS17.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you will play a vital role in their life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care: help people get ready for the day and assist with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
- Support independent living: budget management, paying bills, maintaining their home, organising appointments and supporting cooking healthy meals.
- Excellent communication skills/relationship building: help them understand the world around them and promote positive relationships.
- Community & Social Inclusion: support the men to access and participate in their local community, go on holidays and social events to promote life skills and individuality.

- Male Support Worker, 17.5 hours per week, day shifts – MUST have a valid UK driving licence.
- Shift Times: Days: various shifts between 07:00-22:00. Waking Nights: 10:00-08:00. There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat-rate payment of £62.70.
