Calling all compassionate and dedicated female individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Female Support Workers to join our team in Rotherham.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their lives.
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options:
- Part-time: flexible hours, 20-25 hours per week.
All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can plan your personal and social life!
Day shifts: between 07:00-10:00
Sleep-ins: additional payment of £62.45 per sleep-in
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references. Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female-only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act, Schedule 9, Part 1.
