Do you have a background in employer engagement or recruitment? This opportunity is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent role. You will join us as an Employer Engagement Officer, focusing on engaging with employers to secure work placements and jobs for our young learners with learning disabilities and/or Autism in the Worcestershire area.
The role involves leading employer engagement for the Worcestershire team, building and developing strong working relationships with employers from different industries to secure work placements and negotiate paid employment for our supported Interns. Our interns are supported in the workplace by a Skills Coach, and you will oversee their work to ensure placements progress and learners become independent, eventually moving into paid work.

Responsibilities
- The ability to work on your own initiative.
- Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with learners, employers, teaching professionals and parents/carers.
- The ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records using IT-based systems.
- Ideally, you will have employer engagement and marketing experience, as creating work opportunities for the people we support is an important part of the role.
