We are currently looking for a passionate Service Manager to join our team in March on a temporary (6 month) basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, making a difference, and ensuring that people receive the highest quality support.
Responsibilities
- Inspire and develop a dedicated team of Support Workers.
- Ensure services deliver high-quality, person-centred support in line with Mencap values and CQC standards.
- Manage day-to-day operations including rotas, budgets and compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with the people we support, their families, and external professionals.
- Create a positive, empowering environment where people are supported to live the lives they choose with independence and joy.
Requirements / About you
- Caring, organised, and confident in a people-focused setting.
- Experience in social care or management is desirable.
- Understanding of what great quality care looks like.
- Full driving licence is required due to needs of the people we support.
- Working week flexible over 7 days and may include weekends.
