Mencap is seeking Female Support Workers in the Leicestershire area. The role is to support individuals with learning disabilities in everyday life.

Location: Mountsorrel, Syston, Quorn, Sileby, Queniborough or Melton Mowbray.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily activities.
  • Provide emotional support and build meaningful relationships.
  • Work within varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a 24‑hour care service.
  • Plan and support for sleep‑in shifts, earning an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract & Working Hours:

  • Full time (37.5 hours per week) or part time. Shift times are between 07:00 and 23:00. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance.
