Mencap is seeking Female Support Workers in the Leicestershire area. The role is to support individuals with learning disabilities in everyday life.
Location: Mountsorrel, Syston, Quorn, Sileby, Queniborough or Melton Mowbray.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily activities.
- Provide emotional support and build meaningful relationships.
- Work within varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a 24‑hour care service.
- Plan and support for sleep‑in shifts, earning an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract & Working Hours:
- Full time (37.5 hours per week) or part time. Shift times are between 07:00 and 23:00. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance.
