We are passionate about providing a diverse range of social clubs, outdoor activities, and community events that promote independence and friendship.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring members of our thriving 'GrowAbility' allotment project are supported to engage with nature safely and meaningfully, acting as the "bridge" between horticultural tasks and member wellbeing.
- Member Wellbeing: Maintaining a constant overview of members' engagement and comfort during outdoor tasks.
- Safety & Risk: Conducting "dynamic" site risk assessments and ensuring individual risk assessments for service users are kept up to date.
- Supportive Translation: Translating instructions into accessible tasks to ensure members feel confident in the outdoor environment.
Hours: Weekly sessions on Wednesday mornings, 9:45 am - 1:15 pm
Pay: £15.50 per hour
Essential experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, along with a comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
