Join the Community Engagement Team at Mencap. We are looking for a proactive and relationship-focused Membership Manager to join Mencap's Community Engagement Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting a vibrant network of 264 independent organisations, many of whom proudly share the Mencap brand. As Membership Manager, you will act as a vital connector between our affiliate network and the wider organisation, helping members access the information, resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive. You'll build strong relationships across the network, ensuring organisations feel informed, valued, and supported in delivering their important work. This is a part-time (30 hours per week), up to 12 month fixed term position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and overseeing the affiliation process for member organisations
  • Acting as a key point of contact for brand, quality, and support enquiries
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Creating engaging communications through digital platforms, email campaigns, and social media
  • Sharing resources, opportunities, guidance, and updates across the network
  • Using CRM systems to track engagement and maintain accurate network records
  • Signposting organisations to relevant support and advice across the wider organisation

About you:
