We are an experienced Healthcare Partnerships Manager who thrives on high-level engagement with key NHS payer stakeholders to drive the planning and implementation of Menarini Stemline medicines into care pathways within the changing NHS, ensuring access for patients. It is a role with an extremely high level of autonomy, visibility, and the unique chance to influence how Menarini Stemline is positioned and perceived in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for finalising, adapting and successfully implementing Key Account Plans to drive the implementation of current and future indications for our medicines into NHS pathways, and will report to the Head of Market Access and External Affairs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement key account plans to drive implementation of current and future indications for Menarini Stemline medicines within NHS pathways in the changing NHS payer landscape.
- Engage wider cross-functional team members in medical, market access and commercial teams to build the plans and then agree functional accountability for actions and tactics.
- Finalise and gain senior leader endorsement for account business plans which should include a business opportunity and environment analysis, SWOT, stakeholder profiling and influence mapping, target customer prioritisation and action plan.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key NHS payer stakeholders to influence care pathways and drive product adoption.
- Provide an excellent customer experience for NHS professionals, ensuring clarity and engagement around product value propositions.
- Gather insights and provide feedback to management, contributing to continuous improvement in engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between project goals and NHS priorities.
- Build long-term mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders including payers and NHS management.
- Behave in an ethical and compliant manner that is consistent with Stemline’s core values and UK ABPI code of practice.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a field-based Oncology/Haematology market access role.
- BA or BSc degree - ideally in life science.
- Ability to develop a deep level of product, therapy area and NHS priorities to ensure optimal planning and implementation for the introduction of Menarini Stemline’s assets with NHS payer stakeholders in Trusts, Cancer Alliances and ICBs.
- Demonstrable track record in account planning, project management, cross-functional working and innovative thinking.
- Sound knowledge of the NHS environment, organisations, systems, practices and management structures.
- Must be self-motivated, commercially savvy, with strong analytical, negotiation and influencing skills – must be comfortable with engaging all NHS stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
