What you’ll do:

  • Spearhead the development of machine learning models capable of processing vast amounts of data and delivering low-latency recommendations to customers globally.

  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of scientists and engineers to drive the creation of innovative recommendation systems that put customer needs first.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement personalized recommendation systems across customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deploy models into scalable, low-latency production systems.

  • Work with product managers to create customer-focused, machine-backed solutions.

Requirements

Basic qualifications:

  • PhD, or a Master's degree and experience in CS, CE, ML or related field research.
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
  • Experience in building machine learning models for business application.
  • Experience with contextual bandits, off-policy evaluation and learning to rank models.
  • Experience with AWS technologies such as CDK, Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, Sagemaker, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using Unix/Linux.
  • Experience in professional software development.
  • Experience working within an Agile environment working with software engineers to launch products for customers.
