What you’ll do:
- Spearhead the development of machine learning models capable of processing vast amounts of data and delivering low-latency recommendations to customers globally.
- Design and conduct experiments that showcase both the technical strength and business impact of your models.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of scientists and engineers to drive the creation of innovative recommendation systems that put customer needs first.

Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement personalized recommendation systems across customer touchpoints.
- Collaborate with engineers to deploy models into scalable, low-latency production systems.

Requirements
Basic qualifications:
- PhD, or a Master's degree and experience in CS, CE, ML or related field research.
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
- Experience in building machine learning models for business application.
- Experience with contextual bandits, off-policy evaluation and learning to rank models.
- Experience with AWS technologies such as CDK, Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, Sagemaker, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience using Unix/Linux.
- Experience in professional software development.
- Experience working within an Agile environment working with software engineers to launch products for customers.
