We are thrilled to present an incredible career opportunity! We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned multinational company based in the United Kingdom, seeking an Applied Scientist experienced in Generative AI and large models.

What you’ll do:

  • You will take the lead in developing machine learning models capable of handling very large datasets across various dimensions.
  • With a commitment to scientific precision, you will design and conduct experiments to validate the technical performance and business impact of your approaches.
  • Collaborating closely with fellow scientists and engineering teams, you will ensure your research is seamlessly integrated into production systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create machine learning algorithms to solve large-scale recommendation challenges.
  • Quickly design, test, and refine multiple hypotheses in an uncertain environment, using data analysis and business insights.
  • Work closely with software engineers to implement successful experiments into the company’s processes.
  • Share findings and insights effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and reports.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • PhD, or a Master's degree and experience in CS/CE/ML or related field research.
  • Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing.
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
  • Experience in building machine learning models for business application.
  • Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in professional software development.
