We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused electrician with experience in industrial and commercial environments. Previous generator experience is not required, as full training will be provided. You will:
- Hold a Gold ECS Card or be working towards obtaining one
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation, Electrotechnical Services, or have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship
- Hold the 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (or equivalent)
- Possess a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel as required
- Demonstrate excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Be organised, self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Have strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

As an Industrial / Commercial Electrician, you will play a key role in installing, commissioning, maintaining and fault-finding temporary power solutions across a wide range of customer sites. Working as part of a specialist team, you will support projects across multiple sectors, including construction, utilities, infrastructure, events and critical power applications. The role offers a varied workload, significant overtime opportunities and comprehensive training within the power generation industry. Key responsibilities:
- Installing temporary generator systems and associated electrical equipment
- Connecting temporary power supplies into customer electrical installations safely and efficiently
- Testing, inspecting and certifying electrical distribution equipment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across the generator fleet
- Maintaining and repairing cables and associated equipment
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and new team members
- Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota for servicing and emergency repairs
- Assisting the sales team with project pricing and technical support
